Today we went and helped the ward clean the church. We always help when it’s our ward’s month to clean the church. The month of April is going to be dead church-attendance-wise for our ward. School is out here and everyone is gone, pretty much. We had about 25 people at church last week, but half of them were church people from Frankfurt who had come down to Munich to meet with my mission president about some stuff. They were all very nice people.
The past week was really good for us teaching-wise. It is starting to pick up. We got a new investigator last week who is a friend of a member. He came to General Conference with this member, and that's how we met him. He came to church last week, as well. His name is Okafor, and the member is named Gabriel. They both live in the same building about 2 hours away from Munich by train. It's pretty amazing how these two dudes travel so far to come to church, and one of them isn't even a member. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes in the car to get to them. Since we are in the English ward, our area covers the entire Munich Stake. We will be meeting with Christine tonight, and then tomorrow we should have 2 other people in church that we will start teaching, hopefully. So things are starting to pick up a little bit.
Yesterday, Elder Buntain and I drove 2 1/2 hours away to go to a city called Friedrichshafen, just outside of Ravensburg, to check out a missionary apartment that we're moving out of. We had to go down there to meet the man that will paint the apartment. Apartments in Germany are a pain. I don't really feel like explaining it. I'll tell you when I'm home. The office work was still office work. Just chilling, mainly.
I did an exchange with one of the Elders here named Elder Seidl. He is from Slovakia. He's pretty chill. He has a metal voice, as well.
Munich is fine. It had gotten kind of chilly. It actually snowed on Easter weekend (lol). Man, was that a surprise. But hopefully the warm weather will come back. Things in the office are okay. It's getting old. It’s all good, though. Tschüß (Bye).
