Well, we had a lot more success teaching-wise this past week than the week before. Our one investigator committed herself to be baptized before we got the chance to. Her name is Denise. We were teaching her about prophets with another member, and her definition of what she thought a prophet was was just how a member would describe a prophet. The member present was so astounded by her answer, he just asked her, “Why haven't you been baptized yet?” And she was, like, “Well, I have already thought about it. I want to be baptized on my birthday next year.” We had planned on asking her to be baptized, too, in this lesson, but she did it herself. She is way cool. She started meeting with the missionaries, like, a month before I came to Stuttgart. She didn't believe in God when we started meeting with her. She had met with the Jehovah Witnesses for a year, too, sometime in the past, but nothing ever came of it. She has only been meeting with us for about 2 1/2 months and she says how she has really been able to find God since she started meeting with us.

We found somebody in the train this past week who came to church on Sunday! It was awesome. His name is Fati. He is from Turkey. He is around 29. He is Muslim. Way open, though. He has started to read in the Book of Mormon and he wants to come to church again. Sadly, it won't be until 2 weeks when we see him again. He is going on vacation.

I can't remember if I told you last week or not, but two Sundays ago, the family I taught in Munich was baptized. It's pretty sweet. We also went to Munich this past week on Thursday and Friday for Zone Leader council with President Miles. Once a month all the Zone Leaders go to Munich and we meet with President Miles. Elder Kent Richards was there, too, in Munich when we had Zone Leader council. He is in the Second Quorum of the Seventy. He is in the new Area Presidency here in Europe. He talked to us and it was way cool! I love how General Authorities just really expand scripture with you and help you see the other side of the scriptures that you have never seen, or even make scriptures known to you that you didn't even know where there (lol). So that was really cool. Then, we also meet with President Schneider, the stake president here fin Stuttgart. He is in our ward. So we met with him and talked to him about missionary work. His family is cool.

We've actually had two American families move into our ward. One we helped move. and the dad is a book writer. He writes thrillers, which is pretty cool. And his family just decided they wanted to live in Germany for a little bit. So that’s what they're doing.
