I've only got 15 minutes to email today, but the MTC is still good. As you probably know. I met my cousin Jed's friend, Elder Esplin. He actually left for Deutschland on Monday. He was a really nice dude. We got new Deutschers (that's what we call them) on Wednesday so we're not the newbies anymore.
Elder Ronald Rasband of the Presidency of the Quorum of the Seventy spoke to us Tuesday night. He was the first General Authority to come to the MTC since I've been here. Then Sunday, instead of having a speaker at our devotional, the BYU Men’s Chorus came and sang to us. It was pretty cool.
I get to go to the Provo Temple weekly. I go every P-Day and then on Sundays, we go on Temple walks, where we can walk around on the Temple grounds. It’s always nice to leave the MTC grounds (lol).
Deutsch is ser gut. It's coming along great. I no longer have to memorize lines and phrases and stuff before I teach. I can almost say the stuff I want to say when teaching the lessons. It's still kind of hard understanding sometimes when someone is speaking, but it’s all good. It will come with time. I'm starting to work on the grammar for Deutsch and it may be the end of me, but it’s all good. I love the German language, though. It's totally metal. I remember thinking it was kind of a rough sounding language, but I love hearing it now. I am totally stoked when I get to go out and be totally surrounded by it. I kind of hope I'll be like Jeremy and kind of forget English. That would be rad!
I met a sister from Austria here. She was totally rad.
Well, I'll talk more about it next time. I have 30 seconds left now.
I'll talk to ya next week.
Peace,
